Diablo 3 Brings Back Its Darkening Of Tristram, Diablo 1 Anniversary Event
Diablo III players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One can again take part in the Darkening of Tristram event from last year, where the game gets a Diablo 1-style makeover.
Darkening of Tristram Event Reminder – Diablo 3
The Darkening of Tristram is part of the limited Anniversary event every January which is a throw back to Diablo 1.

The 16 level dungeon is inspired by the original Diablo. Its not the Diablo 1 game recreated or remastered inside of Diablo 3 but instead it’s a rift reskinned to look like Diablo 1.
